Our Story

Interstates Movers started as a spreadsheet. In 2017, Alex Petrov was helping a friend ship a car from Chicago to Phoenix. He called six brokers and got six wildly different prices ranging from $650 to $1,400. None could explain why. Alex, a data analyst by trade, spent the next three months collecting pricing data from dozens of carriers and brokers. He built a comparison model that predicted fair market rates within 5% accuracy. Friends started asking him for quotes. Then their friends asked. By 2018, Alex turned his spreadsheet into a website. Interstates Movers was born as a platform that helps consumers compare real prices, read verified reviews, and make informed decisions about auto transport and moving services.
